Bowing:
Bow when entering and leaving the gym.
Bow to any visiting black belts before commencement of class.
Bow to your partner before and after training together.
Bow to an instructor when leaving or returning to the training area during class.
If arriving late wait until the instructor bows you in.
When not training, stand and bow with the class when bowing to the flags.
 
General:
Leave your EGO at the door
Students should change in their respective change rooms and leave their belongings there.
Refer to all instructors as SIR when they are in uniform.
When in double lines, stand in Jhoon Bee or sparring stance while waiting for instruction.
Ensure your uniform is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Ensure your finger and toe nails are kept short.
Never face the Flags or any Black Belts when fixing uniform.
Ensure the Dojang is kept clean and tidy at all times.
When in class and asked a question answer YES or NO sir.
When in class lines, stand in Jhoon Bee while waiting for instruction.
NO Swearing in the Dojang  
NO jewellery to be worn during training.
NO smoking in the Dojang.
Do not lean on walls or slouch around the Dojang.
Treat the Dojang and training equipment with respect at all times.
HapKiDo is a martial art which needs total focus and commitment, so when on the training floor socializing ends and training begins.
 
The respect, discipline and conduct you develop in HapKiDo should not stop once you leave the Dojang.
